Working Principle:
There are three types of flanged telescopic butterfly valves:
- Ordinary type: design and install according to the design specifications of the expansion joint when selecting. If you need to add limit bolts, please specify when designing.
- Fixed limit type : It can be stretched and limited, and has the function of fixing the telescopic part to prevent it from stretching. It is characterized by multiple functions and wider application range.
- Lengthened type: it lengthens the expansion joint of the ordinary telescopic butterfly valve to make the length meet the length required by the user (excluding the expansion and contraction amount). Its characteristic is that the valve on the original pipeline needs to be updated when the old pipeline is reconstructed For replacement, it can be replaced without dividing the connecting part of the valve on the original pipeline. Limit measures should also be considered when selecting the lengthened type. If the limit is required, please indicate it when designing.

- The telescopic butterfly valve can not only compensate the function of thermal expansion and cold contraction caused by the temperature difference of the pipeline, but also provide convenience for the maintenance of valve installation and replacement.
Installation Precautions:
- The flanged telescopic butterfly valve must be placed flat before installation. Do not bump it at will. It is strictly forbidden to remove the bracket during operation.
- Structural length of the flange telescopic butterfly valve : The lower limit length when it leaves the factory . When installing, pull it to the installation length (ie the design length).
- When the length between the pipes exceeds the installation length of the expansion valve, please adjust the interval between the pipes, and do not force the expansion butterfly valve to avoid damage to the butterfly valve.
- The flanged telescopic butterfly valve can be installed arbitrarily. When it is used for temperature compensation, after the installation of the pipeline is completed, brackets should be added at both ends along the axis of the pipeline to prevent the expansion pipe of the expansion valve from being pulled out.
